Louise Manzon was born in San Paolo, Brazil, in 1961 where she grew up in a cosmopolitan family, her formative years spent in South America, Europe and the United States.
In 1984 she received her degree in Industrial Design from the ‘Armando Alvares Penteado’ Foundation in San Paolo. After this she collaborated for two years with an international architectural firm. She then continued her studies at the Pratt Institute in New York where she experimented with different expressive languages and artistic styles and where she received a Masters Degree in Industrial Design.
After receiving her Masters Degree, she worked as a designer at the advertising agency Young and Rubicam in New York before opening her own visual design studio, generating several projects between the United States and Europe.
She perfected her painting and sculptural techniques at the Art Students League and at the National Academy School of Fine Arts in New York City.
She exhibits her sculptures in several international locations, in Switzerland, in the United States and in Italy.
